SubjectProphet
So I'm planning on buying a backup computer in case my Alienware shuts down. (NOTE: My alienware was one of the first models, not the cheap crap they have now) I want to know if the computer I want to buy can run Skyrim. Dell™ Inspiron™ N4110 Intel Core i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40GHz 4 Proccessers 2 Cores6GB RAMWin7 That's all the information I got. If there's a way to get more specs, let me know and I'll post more information.
MorwynKelm
The video card is going to be one of the more vital components but I'm guessing you'd be fine on med/high settings on that thing.
Korodic
give us a price range, and maybe we can find something better.
SubjectProphet
give us a price range, and maybe we can find something better. Can't buy anything more expensive than the one I want. Heading back to Afghan soon, so my wife needs as much money as possible. I just want it to be able to run Skyrim, I don't care on what quality. MorwynKelm
That machine would be sufficient. Even with Intel integrated graphics, but I'm guessing a rig like that is running OEM Nvidia or AMD. Stay safe over there. EDIT: Post #666. Not that that means anything... Edited May 4, 2012 by Morwyn Kelm
xlcr
if you're looking at the new Inspiron 14R (upgraded N4110) try to get it with the optional AMD Radeon HD 6470M 1GB GPU if you can.you should get slightly better performance with the dedicated AMD discrete graphics card than the standard integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000.
