How to combine two models in one Nif?

I want to take the tail from this mod (SP_WW_tail) and make it either equipable (by itself or along with specific pants) or combine it with a humanoid body (BB). I tried experimenting by copying/pasting the Tail onto a random piece of clothing's model in nifskope, however much to my dismay, the tail doesn't show up in game. I'm pretty sure this is due to an issue with Bone nodes and/or the skeleton, etc. But I have no experience in that field and thus have no clue how to resolve this problem. May a knowledgeable individual indulge me on how I should go about this fixing this?

Except if I'm wrong you need blender to mix body parts with equipable items.

Heh, well no offense, but I hope you're wrong. Because I have absolutely no experience with Blender, whereas I have a tiny bit experience with Nifskope xD

There's no offence don't worry. ;-)

 

If it can relieve you you don't need blender to combine body parts and gear in Oblivion.
