HouseofAlbert
I have the hoodless Masks mod. But how can i make them wearable with helmets? I tried editing one of the DragonMasks by changing the item slot from circlet to ring. Didnt work. Any one know how or if im doing something wrong? thumbincubation
This is probably not going to be overly helpful, because it's one of those things that I have to use trial and error, 34962876 times, every time I try to make an item, but... If you look at piece of headgear in the creation kit, for example a helmet, there is a section on the form, where you choose what the item covers. Full helmets may say "head", where as others may say "circlet" or "ears," etc., depending on how much they cover. Down at the bottom of the form, there is the Armor Addon, which also has a section where you assign where it is worn as well as priorities. (Whether it will sit under or over something with a certain priority, to avoid clipping.) I don't know if there are any good tutorials out there, to help you avoid the same trial and error, but I believe your main work is going to be in those two sections, one on the item form itself, and the other on the associated armor addon (AA) form. You might download a mod which allows something like masks and helms, or circlets and helms, and open it up in creation kit, so you can see the difference between it and vanilla, in those forms. Cant find the AA for the Hoodless mask. Would i have to make an AA? Edited May 17, 2018 by HouseofAlbert
HouseofAlbert
The guy who made the tribunal mask uses an unused slot for the AA and regular form. How dose that work? I want to have so i can be worn with the dragon carved helm, like the tribunal mask. Edited May 17, 2018 by HouseofAlbert
MrStoob
An alternative is to re-slot the item to another number, which can be done in nifSkope and an accompanying esp to register the new slots.
