Jimmy22
I keep getting this message when I try to login to the download manager. I just wanted to download a small spell mod today. I know my password is right because I can log into this site. And I checked my firewall rules and NMM has all the green lights. My NMM version is 0.63.13 Is it because the version is too old? And if so, if I update my NMM will it uninstall all my mods like last time? I dread updating it. I do not want to screw my game up. Never normally have this issue. Pickysaurus
Hi there, Please install v0.65.2 or above, which can be downloaded from the link at the top of the Nexus Website. If you want more info, there's an article here: https://www.nexusmods.com/news/13481
WastelandAssassin
you will keep receiving this error until you update to the latest version , which you can find here https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases/tag/0.65.4updating through NMM also won't work , so you'll need to download the latest version from the link I providedcan't say what updating will do , but others haven't reported any issues with it , so I think it should be fine (you should back up your files just in case though)

Jimmy22
Thank you all for the information. I had no idea. I am bang in the middle of a massive dragonborn legacy play through, so I don't think I will risk updating just yet. If my game blows up i'd be super upset. I could manually download the mod file and then add the file to NMM manually and it will install okay with my old version right? Thank you again for your replies guys. I'm running through with 175 mods currently and so far things are going great Just having a issue with 1 mod for some reason and I'm hoping my moving the mod in the load order will help

Jimmy22
Hi there, Please install v0.65.2 or above, which can be downloaded from the link at the top of the Nexus Website. If you want more info, there's an article here: https://www.nexusmods.com/news/13481Edit:Okay I installed the newest version. I originally messed up and installed it to the wrong directory. But after realizing my error and correcting it the new version is working and all my mods still seems to be intact. However....I have noticed one problem, for some odd reason all my mods titles in NMM are not listed in the complete form. Everything has been shortened down to the first 2 letters of the word. Then when you look in the sub folder for each mod it's just a single word. Is this normal??? Edited May 26, 2018 by Jimmy22
WastelandAssassin
you just need to increase the width of the name columnjust drag the barrier between this column and the next , and increase that to your desired widthit's something that many people have seen , and it seems like many don't know how to handle this , even though it's not an actual UI issue (it's just column width , in the same way you can get with every Microsoft software)

That was the issue. Thank you. I've never had that happen with NMM before, so I never thought to simply expand the column. :)
