Appearance: His hair is black, but slightly greying in some areas, he is clean shaven with dark brown eyes and a military style hair cut

Strengths: Gives an air of authority. Imposing. Good strategical mind. Good aim.

Weaknesses: Quick to anger. Sometimes expects to much of people. Often forgets that his soldiers are not invincible.

Bio: Samuel Ironside was born on earth in the year 2078. His father was an EDF captain, his mother was a civilian. Growing up, he heard from his father stories about the EDF, and decided he wanted to join once he could. In 2096, the second he was old enough, he signed on. Passing training with flying colours, after training he was instantly assigned onto a unit as a private and earned private first class within two months. He became corporal after he and his squad mates saved an EDF squad from Marauders. In 2097, he was promoted to sergeant after his squad leader died and he lead the squad to safety. In 2099, an EDF convey carrying supplies to a base in the bad lands was raided, but Sergeant Ironside and his squad quickly came to assist, and though his squad was only 4 men large, he managed to save the convoy from a force of 12 marauders. For this he was Promoted to Staff sergeant. His fast promotions slowed for a while, but jump started again a year later, with his promotion to sergeant first class, following him killing a marauder chieftain by running him over in a staff car. In 2101, a marauder war chieftain and his forces attempted to destroy an EDF air field in the badlands, the EDF won and the war chieftain attempted to flee, but Samuel and two EDF troopers killed him using an APC. The EDF promoted him to master sergeant. In the year 2103 Samuel saved an EDF colonel from a marauder ambush, the colonel rewarded him by promoting him to Second lieutenant. By now, Samuel Ironside was a hero figure amongst many of the enlisted EDF troops, and he used this status to when he came across a group of deserters, he persuaded them to return to the EDF using the status he held amongst the lower ranks, persuasion and telling them what would happen if the EDF caught them. He was promoted to First lieutenant in 2105 after using tactical skill to defeat a superior number of marauders as they attempted to destroy an EDF convoy carrying fuel for gunships in Mariner valley. By now the Red faction had been reformed and Samuel was redeployed to Parker. After capturing and killing a group of Red faction spies who were attempting to sabotage the fuel processing plant and stopping many guerilla actions, he was promoted to captain in 2108, he continued to fight against the red faction until 2112, when he was promoted to major and redeployed to the badlands, the red faction had deployed a small group here who were attempting to destroy the EDF air base, Samuel helped to try to put a stop to it for a year, and finally stopped the group as they were about to destroy the control tower. Then the now Colonel Ironside defeated three marauder chieftains and a marauder war chieftain as they banded together to defeat the EDF, they were put down, but the war chieftain and one of the marauder chieftains escaped, he spent 3 years hunting them down, and once they were killed, he received his promotion to General.

It's 2:00 AM here, this probably isn't going to be the best. Especially the bio, I will more then likely edit it when I wake up.

Name: Jacob Walker

Weight: 10st.10lb (150 pounds, I think, if my math doesn't fail me.)

 

Appearance: A simple hair style, with a rough beard, green eyes, average build.

 

Strengths: As for his experience, his skills with guns is a lot more experienced then others, and his experience on the battlefield and knowing the lands, make his tactics and strategy unmatched.

 

Weaknesses: Generally, being old made him a bit slower and a little more brittle, but can still hold his ground.

 

Weapons: Sledgehammer, Pistol, Assault Rifle, Remote Charge.

 

Bio: Jacob was originally born on Earth, in August 11th, 2065, in Olympia, Washington. His father worked in the coal mines in the over population Earth, while his mother was a nurse at the local hospital. As his father had always worked the coal mines, he had been moved to Mars, to start the digging there for the precious resources that Earth desperately needed. His family was moved to the Ultor camp for the miners, where he and his family stayed at a barracks, with another family. While on Mars, his father now worked almost 20 hours a day, and his mother was so busy at the hospital, helping the injured miners in daily infections from the plague. Jacob pretty much grew up on his own. He would often play with the other child in the barracks, She, like him, had a father who worked the mines. Her name was Pepper Kimball. She and him would never be separated, they played together, ate together, and worked together. Jacobs life would turn into a living nightmare when he turned 10, 2075.

 

The First Martian Revolution had begun, his dad had joined the Red Faction militia to fight the evil doings of the Ultor Corporation. Soon after, his father got the plague, and died. Jacob looked up to the men with great respect. However, Jacob was only 10, and couldn't fight in the war. He wasn't angered by it, more of disappointed. He couldn't show his true values until later in the war. As the war continued, Ultor was desperate. They started to take children away, Jacob was never take, due to his age and that he could work, not in the mines but in general places. As the war came to a close, the EDF built the Terraforming devices, so that the people could breath on the surface. About 8 years later, in 2083. Jacob joined the EDF. He could finally prove himself of his worth, and he did. He became one of the more better known soldiers, he however, was wasting his talents on guard duty.

 

About 30 years later, in 2105, Jacob was a well known and respected EDF member, he was known for his imminence skill with a Pistol, which even the Officers questioned on how good he was. However, Jacob saw though the EDF corruption. He knew they were killing miners, and he promptly left the EDF. Jacob contacted the Red Faction leaders, they thought of him as an asset being a former solider, and soon after, Jacob quickly rose through the ranks. Jacob had shown that even in the most intense situations, he could keep calm and give clear, and direct orders. However, Jacob hasn't seen any real war, only bits and pieces of fighting around. In one situation, his raid of men and women were pinned down by an overwhelming force of Marauders, on they're evening drive around the sector. He had easily thought of a plan in his head, and it worked perfectly. Only two people were wounded, and the Marauders suffered many casualties. Jacob, was now a respected War Hero.

 

Now, with the rise of the Second Martian Revolution, Jacob was now a Commander, with years of experience on his belt. Ready for anything the EDF might throw at him.

 

It's good stuff, the 'ultor camp' should probably just be The 'ultor mines', but it's good stuff :thumbsup:
