Do Arvena's rats convey diseases?

I'm playing on max difficulty. So I feel like Arvena's rats - at least in the early game - are a good way to train my endurance skills up since they only do 1 damage per hit, compared to the 2 damage that most other rats do.

 

However, I'm also trying to strategically get infected with a disease, so I can exploit this glitch ...

Will I still have the 25% chance of getting infected from one of her rats?

No, all her rats are clean.

So is there any way to purposefully get a "drain attribute" disease in a way that's relatively safe? Remember: i'm playing on my difficulty, so enemies that hit me will do a ton of damage ... and I can't block because that would reduce the chances of me getting the disease.

No, unless you want to mod Arvena's rats, a regular rat that does 2 damage is the safest way to to catch a disease.
