BaronofHe11
So of late I have been getting a large amount of CTDs and game freezing but the sound keeps going. I figured it was because I hadn't been using the good practice of not installing and removing mods mid game. Oddly enough I didn't really care because I was going to nuke this game and start over. What I did care about was the really long load times every time I changed cells. So I decide to move Skyrim to a SSD to improve the load times. I also installed some more mods including some that needed a LODs generated. I got a error when generating the LODs because I needed to run skyrim first because I moved. I do that and proceed to be shocked by the decreased load time, lack of CTDs, and lack of game freezes. I was also in a area where my followers kept getting lost because of poor navmeshing. To my surprise again the followers stopped getting lost. They did run in odd directions but at least they didn't get lost. I actually played for little over 6 hours without a single problem. I decided to hold off on nuking my game since now it is working perfectly. One thing to note is I didn't start getting crashes and freezes until like 60 hours into my current game. Also note I did play on a external drive which might explain the load times. However, I play the witcher, wolfenstein and all my other games on the same drive with no problems. So you might want to try playing on a SSD if you aren't already. I have both the game and mods on the SSD using MO2.
BaronofHe11
Oh I forgot something. I also installed SSE Engine Fixes update, it is possible this is what fixed my problems.
