Constant CTD when loading a game - Vanilla Start Broken

Mods (some of them aren't plugins):

No logs are generated from the crash even though I've enabled logging / tracing / etc. in Skyrim.ini

LAL / Live Another Life is NOT the culprit. Everything in the game runs completely fine unless I quit and have to load a save or start the vanilla start.

CBP Was disabled, still didn't fix the issue. Insignificant Object Remover, Death Alternative were also disabled, still no fix.

It is Racemenu SSE. It was poorly converted earlier today and released by someone with no permissions. The mod has since been removed from the Nexus. The file you downloaded is also 7.3MB vs the original 13MB.

Delete it and you should be fine.

I manually unpacked the BSA/etc. as per XP32 instructions (in their sticky, etc.) But this is what happened. Oh well, guess Racemenu is staying uninstalled even though it's basically required for XP32.

Alpha 6 of Racemenu seems to have some issues. BTW, it is only required for the latest version of XPMSSE. My "solution" so far: Use the older XPMSSE version (4.20) and Racemenu Alpha 5 (if you - like me - can't play without Racemenu....). You won't have that fancy MCM menu for XPMSSE, but no CTD issues either. At least for me, Racemenu Alpha 5 plus XPMSSE 4.20 seems to be absolutely stable.
