strawbqwerty
The game got a up date. Then windows updated it`s self big time. Then I installed the latest SKSE64 . Mod organizer will start the game in vanilla mode, but not with any mods. All the tools that should work with Mod organizer wont load the plugins. SSEEdit keeps looking at the Skyrim SE plugin list found in the app data folder. I have reinstalled the VC_redist.x64.exe and VC_redist.x86 as per the mod organizer trouble shooting guide. I have verified the game files with steam. Tried installing a new mod. mod organizer was installed inside my skyrim SE folder. Reinstalled it in C:\\. Still no joy. strawbqwerty
Ok a bit of a up date. I have got skse64 starting now. Was a dll file that needed up dating to the latest skse. Done that. Still can`t get game tools to read the plugins though.
QuagaarWarrior
I had this problem after the Windows Spring creators update which I guess is what you had.I found updating Mod Organizer to the latest version fixed it. Update over the existing install. It did not mess with my load order or existing play through
BaronofHe11
Note you can backup your load order by clicking the create backup button in MO2.

strawbqwerty
All sorted. It was the windows up date. After a google search i found on the Step forum the answer. Turn the game bar off. So simple, yet so annoying.
