One step closer to zombie armies!

I find this a tad unnerving. Essentially this drug forces brain cells that are creating misfolded proteins (I.E. Prion disorders, like Mad Cow or Creutzfeldt-Jakob) to continue to function even though they normally try to shut down. This means they would continue to pump out these Prions and not die, like they normally would. The most unnerving part of this to me is that Prion disorders don't just kill braincells by making them turn of protein production, but the Prions themselves mess with information transfer in the brain as well...
