DeaDWarrioR51
I have the mod "Scoped Bows" installed which adds new Bows with Scopes but also adds Scopes to all unique bows like Auriels Bow. I'd like to keep the normal Bows but remove the Scopes from all unique ones like Auriels Bow/Dwarven Black Bow/Nightingale Bow etc. I have never used SSEEdit before (nor do I know anything about Mods other than how to install them) and all I know is that the mod author said in the comments that you can remove Scopes via SSEEdit. Can anyone help?
TheWilloughbian
Right click on the reference you want to remove and left click "remove". Then respond to the prompts accordingly. Make back ups of any ESPs you want to change, just in case. Depending on the types of edits you make it can break your save. But, edits to weapons should be safe. Be aware of weapons that has scripts attached to it, especially quest items, and removing anything from a scripted weapon could cause a CTD. I tried deleting the bows from the mod but it only either made the bows invisible or caused the game to crash or it doesnt do anything even I deleted quite a bit. i dont even know which files i have to delete in order to get the result that i want Edited June 1, 2018 by DeaDWarrioR51
