AdenYeshua
No, only in the menu, I will try that. But, I hate to ask again, what made you come to that conclusion that this needed Nif Opt? If it works correctly as it, and is not explicitly needed, why go through it? What made you come to that conclusion that this needed nif opt? TheWilloughbian
Well, You're "supposed" to Optimize the meshes for SSE. SSE uses BSTriShapes for most things rather than NiTriShapes. I'm not sure what all the reasons are. Some stuff won't work unless it's has been optimized or coverted. The thing is that you lose a lot of the functions in Nifskope and Chunk Merge after this is done. So I tend to optimize only after I'm sure I'm done editing a mesh. It's just good practice, I guess. Then again, I do a lot of things people say not to do. So... You know. Reality is what you can get away with.
AdenYeshua
Ah I see, so it is quite possible that the game handles these properly (outside of the few obvious ones) as far as I can tell, at least with these .nif files the standard must run through nif opt. seems to be incorrect... I've now super tested these, in every possible occurrence. Running the tool, or converting it with bodyslide breaks them. Thank you, sadly this has made my jouney into modding that much more difficult. But thank you none the less.
TheWilloughbian
I seen a few mods where the modle in the inventory window looks weird. Usually armour mods that don't have a proper ground mesh. Anyhow.. I hope I helped. I'm around if you have any questions. Good luck.
