Ka0t1c
Hello, I just reinstalled Skyrim today on a new computer (via Steam). The game installed fine; no errors. However, when I attempt to launch the game it won't do anything. I click the "Play" button on Steam, and the window with the options: "Play", "Options", "Data Files", "Tech Support", and "Exit" appears. I click the "Play" button, and the window disappears. However, the game never pops up.I checked the task manager, and there isn't a process running in the background. I also already tried using the "Verify Cache" thing, too. I did that twice. I restarted my computer with no luck, as well. Any help is appreciated. Thanks,Nick P.S. I already emailed Tech Support about this problem, but I haven't heard back from them. EDIT: I lost my disk for the game. So, I just installed it through Steam directly to my new computer (That's the computer I'm having troubles with). Do you think that has anything to do with it? Georgiegril
I think most people here launch via NMM, You might be luckier reaching someone who has had this problem on the Steam community forums...
