Demeggy
Afternoon everybody, the latest in a batch of unusual errors with one of our project's interior cells stems around the player being mysteriously moved back to an xmarkerHeading Ref the second they cross the threshold of a certain place in the cell. It's almost like there's an invisible wall the player crosses which then teleports them to the nearest xmarker. I've checked all markers, all scripts and can find absolutely nothing that would warrant the player being forced back. My questions really go along the line of; what is this and how do i fix it? It's not an overly complicated cell, in fact, its incredibly simple, a labyrinth of cave hallways, not overly large. Cheers, Demeggy
Cyberlazy
I know I get teleported back when I fall through the floor in interiours (or ground in exteriours) Maybe you are going too far outside the cell boundrys? Or going down too far. Time to add a loading zone?
kampeao
That happens to me too. when i went a bit far insinde the cell, i got teleported back to the door.I fixed that by putting an item/static a bit far and now I can move all I want inside that area.Does anoyne know how to fix this/expand cell boundaries? chucksteel
I've had this issue in cells as small as 3 x 4 tiles,I've noticed that sometimes when placing tiles in an interior, I've found that for one reason or another a tile will not have a collision on it. I have no idea why this happens but, I've found that if I reopen the cell in the GECK Delete the suspect tile, save and, close the GECK. After I relaunch again and replace the tile with a new one, it will work properly again. (even if it the exact same tile that was previously removed.) Hope this helps. chuck
