3ds max nif merge and modifying

Hello,

 

It's been quite some time since i started to mod basically every armors in skyrim so they are adapted to cbbe slim

and because i didn't like some vanilla armors (high tier light armor looking too heavy etc...)

 

But i have some problems with 3dsmax, i'm learning as i mod armors by myself but now i'm in need for help

I just figured out how to delete parts/vertice of the armor or body without making the exporter crash and that's really a great thing for me because maybe now i will be able to release my mod much sooner

 

The problem i have right now is; i don't know how to merge parts in 3dsmax

i know it's possible as i succefully did it on some hair model i was working on but it was accidental and i can't reproduce/remember what i did

 

i know that you can attach parts and i did it, it looks ok in 3dsmax but in nifskope the exported mesh is still in parts

 

here is a pic that will explain a little more

 

it's still a wip as i'm using some part of another well known mod, i'll redo them myself when my problem is fixed

By the way i tried my armor ingame, with and without vertex colors, and it appears transparent, only panties are there

it may be because of the dimember skin, if someone wants to take a look here is the nif

 

Edit; it was indeed the dismemberskin, it works now but still i can't merge the mesh here is the working mesh if someone is interested
