TaighAO
I diddled around a lot with the fallout G.E.C.K a lot and I don't remember having this problem. My problem is placing a different texture in an area. I go to the landscape editor and I leveled out a foundation for a house I'm going to build. That worked well and everything, but I'm having trouble placing a green grass texture down on the brown soil. I'm trying to place the green field grass. Am I missing something? All the editor does is mess up my leveled foundation when I try to make a new texture. Thanks.
TaighAO
Wow. I had to right click. I knew I was missing something simple. I kind of answered my own question. I have a new one now, though. The new texture went down well but there's a squared off black texture that won't change colors. How do I change that? Black texture indicates you are trying to use too many textures in one area, when you are in the landcsape edit menu press "i" (i think it's "i" sorry don't have the CK open atm) and it will pop up a list of the textures in use in the current cell, divided into four quadrants. You will either need to use one of these existing textures, or delete one of them to make "room" for your new texture. The list shows how much (%) of each texture is in use - if you are removing one pick one with a low % and delete it in this screen. You should now be able to place a new texture (provided you have deleted one from the correct quadrant of the cell).
