conejeitor
Apart of the specific mission of that shrine, what Namira's shroud does to people? (I got it, but I preferred not to finish the quest),Thanks.
Sarya
Why not finishing it? You won't be hunted by priests for the rest of your game if you do. And if you are roleplaying a Nine Divines follower, why coming to Namira in the first place? Apart from that the spell is not supposed to do anything, I think. conejeitor
Well, I just wanted to see what the quest was about. I don't know, when the moment came, I thought that killing those poor priests was kind of evil since they didn't do anything to me (keeping it real...). And they never bother me anyway. Anyway, so the shroud is useless otherwise?
Sarya
You don't need to kill them. Namira's followers will. And, besides, forcing their "Light" on others is not very nice. And what of the spell... I don't know for sure. It shouldn't have any useful effect.
conejeitor
Yeah I know, but sounds like killing to me anyway. So are they "forcing" their light really? I thought on them sort of like missioners.
Varus Torvyn
The spell is useless outside of the Namira quest. It is removed from your spell list after the quest is done.
Malchik
If you don't do the quest you don't get the Ring of Namira which is quite useful and you won't be able to complete the Daedric quests. (The last Daedric Quest (Hermaeus Mora)is only available if you complete all of the other 14.) Of course you don't need to do it if those things don't matter. And whilst I agree that in a sense the priests of Arkay are missionaries they are not necessarily missionaries of a religion YOU agree with. They are coming to covert people to a religion with which you probably don't agree. If after many years of thinking they have made their choice.... The Ring of Namira is a very useful artifact for a character that's just starting out at the level you can do this quest.
MalachiDelacot
Think of those priests akin to this person in black and the Namira worshipers as the other guy: http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk125/moszibby/GiveIN.jpg EDIT: Was going to post this picture in a few days. Consider it a free preview.
conejeitor
Well, they don't seem to be beating anybody, just speaking. Did you guys see the movie "the mission"? I mean, sure it is wrong to try to sell a religion, but do those missioners deserve to die for it? Don't think so.
