Skyrim SE won't detect any updates

So, the title pretty much explains the problem, i just noticed (after trying to install a mod) that my Skyrim SE is still at version 1.5.39.0.8 which seems a bit old (as far as i know there is already v1.9).

I have reinstalled the game multiple times in the last month, also checked that auto updates on Steam are enabled and i also used the steam tool to check the game's data, obviously it didn't find anything.

And yes, i have bought the legal version of the game, which was almost one year ago, v1.5 might have been the newest Version back then. And yes, i already searched the Internet and didn't find anything that I haven't already tried, i also tried to contact the Bethesda-Support but their support site only Shows me a language selection and a download button for their launcher, which, obviosly, doesn't help me any further.

I normally don't write much in Forums, so please excuse if i did anything wrong and sorry that my english isn't the best, but i couldn't think of anything else then aksing for help here.

So, i think i provided as much useful info as i could, Maybe there's someone here who knows a bit more than i do.

Edit: One thing i forgot to Mention is, that i have Steam, and also the game itself installed on my /D harddrive, might be some more or less important info

well no its not fine because now im finding myself with the same issue current game version is 1.5.73.0 were as my game is 1.5.39.0 and as a result of this wen i launch skse i get a pop up say

racemenu is dependent on skyrim version 1.5.73.0 but your version is currently 1.5.39.0 things may not work properly.

then game opens but insta ctd's ive checked my steam settings and the update is setup to auto update for any new versions and i've never had this problem before

i do have a legitimate game i got it free due to having skyrim legendary edition on my system before skyrim special edition was released which gave me full entitlement to the free upgrade, game/steam is on my spare harddrive away from the os files

there could possibly be one irregularity but its undertermined that it is not so much the game that is not upto date but skse i will check this and try to confirm if this is the front of the problem

Edit:there is a potential culprit to wat causes this perticular error especially if your using the skse launcher run threw all mods and enable them a few at a time since it is mods that can cause the issue of false version numbers
