MO2 - Quick question - Overwrite

these are SKSE plugins , so you don't install them via MO2

you need to move these files to the SKSE folder inside your game's folder

this is because SKSE resides outside your Data folder , and MO2 only manages files that would be installed inside the Data folder

hope I explained this in a simple manner

MO2 unlike MO can handle skse plugins. They are installed just like any other mod. Create a MO2 install folder out of the overwrite and call it Game Junk or anything you want. I have both wearable lanterns and simple knock se along with a few other SKSE plugin mods and they all work through MO2

Extra note I use my Game Junk folder for any mods that generate files during the game.

Sounds good. The mods will not conflict this way by dumping them all together? When creating that mod 'junk' do I still have to enable the mod? Or leave it deactivated?

No they wont conflict. That is exactly how they would be if you did put them in the data folder. Leave the mod activated that way you wont have to move them from the overwrite folder every time you play the game.
