Odd that Fallout 76 has dragons while Skyrim had wyverns.

Would you people just shut up already? D&D isn't the sole authority on the nomenclature of fantasy creatures.

@topic: so, it's basically an mmo, albeit a tuned-town one. Yeah, no. Count me out.

its always the same with those discusions, bla bla bla

the solution is simple

you like it buy/play it

don't like it skip the thing

for me online is no buy

full single player = maybe buy

mods i don't care for them, most are crap anyway(another weapon, another armor/cloth, preset ect)

like with any beth game, its prolly bugged like hell in the end anyway

no, that's the CC. There are a lot of mods with quests, locations, npcs, even new mechanics, in short: content. Sure, not all add content, but they exist on nexus, as opposed to the CC. There, it's ONLY stuff like this.

another reason for mods: unofficial patches. They were necessary at least since Morrowind, and they will be necessary in f76 as well. Edited by pra

Some guys miss the point, that many people have ideas for mods, but they need to learn how to make them first and that will always outside of the cc happen. If they cut the ck away, they would take the possibility away from their users to learn how to make mods and in my eyes, that is like if you would empty your bathtub, from the water you need to wash yourself.

Besides, I am sure that Bethesdas knows, that many people play there games because of mods that come not out on the cc (and maybe not in the future). As example, mods that need to be updated over and over again, like some patch mods. Or even body/slide, companion, new land, quest mods and so on and I don't think that we will see those mods on the cc ever. So I don't think modding is in danger, but I am still not sure if I will buy the new Fallout, because the other thing I would hate (besides no mod tools for f76) is, if I really need always to be online, to play the game. Because if that is the case, the game will be nothing for me.
