shadow85
Just wondering is it worth downloading and installing the official High res texture pack from Bethesda, or downloading the multitude of them found on nexus, or both? Just after best quality.
vertex23
Just use the ones on the Nexus. Bethesda's textures are only twice what they were (I think they're like 512x512 or something). Plus, their pack caused my game to have massive stutter problems and my game was unplayable because of it.
AxlRocks
Since quality is a individually definable term, I'll just say go with Nexus if you want highest res. If you want semi-high res while still fitting the game's style, go with Beth all the way. There are some high res retextures here that match the game well, but most the packs, in my opinion, don't match as well. Also, while it isn't strictly a texture mod, you're obviously going for making the game look good, so be sure to download the mesh improvement mod from Nexus. I think you'll like it.
