Radioactivelad
I was hoping someone could assist me with a Model I'd like to have for an update to my Zap Rowsdower Companion mod. Rowsdower's Melee weapon is supposed to be a grappling hook (yes really), but currently this is just a renamed Tire Iron. I've had very poor success with using Blender myself, but essentially all I need is four three Tire Irons arranged to resemble a hook. (The ends don't need to be curved. As per the title, mushing 4 vanilla tire irons together is adequate.) If anyone would be so kind as to whip that up I'd greatly appreciate it and would be sure to credit you when the update is released. Thanks! devinpatterson
Yeah I can do that for you, if you don't mind waiting a while (modding time is pretty sporadic). Are you looking for all four tire irons to have the same orientation or for them to be diametrically opposed (creating a traditional grappling iron that has the ends pointing in four different directions, like 90 degrees different for each)? Radioactivelad
Yes, the short ends of the irons should be all be facing different directions. Also I just now remembered the hook from the movie only has three prongs, so go ahead and subtract one from the equation. http://www.canuxploitation.com/graphx/stills/quest2.jpg Thanks for your help! devinpatterson
Here are the tire irons. Try them out and if there's no problems I'll put some duct tape on the textures. I actually duplicated three col meshes, so I don't know if that will be an issue (but it can be easily solved if it is). Untested in game, just had a few minutes. Here is a pic;
Radioactivelad
One of the ends seems to have an issue causing it to be out of position when held. For some reason, First person and World perspectives are fine, even though they're all using the same mesh. Qaerixxszhara
That looks great devin! I'm curious if there is any way it could somehow be made to allow passage to higher up areas? Like you throw it like you would, say, a hatchet, and your character model is then pulled to that place after a short delay Edited June 11, 2018 by Qaerixxszhara
