Which laptop? 1050ti 4gb or 1060 3gb?

Hi

SE takes about the same CPU power as LE. So for the vanilla game the i5 7300hq would be fine.

I would not go with less than a i7 7700hq. Games in general are using more cores. Your laptop would last longer with 4 cores, 8 threads.

For graphics the only choice is the 1060 3gb. The 6gb version would be a better choice since the game uses up to 4.8gbs vram vanilla.

I have learned that when modding SE & LE more vram equals less CTDs.

I went with the ASUS with the 1060 3gb. Running happily with about 40 mods.

I was going to say get the 4Gb VRAM version. 1050Ti and 1060 do not really make a difference (and definitely not noticeable). But more VRAM really helps. It generally makes the game runs faster by having more VRAM to load texture onto. VRAM is much faster than RAM, in turn much faster than your harddrive (even SSD). So why VRAM doesn't make your game processes graphics faster, it definitely requires less harddrive reading, which means less stutter and faster load screens. Therefore less CTD tendency. Although Skyrim SE is very solid comparing to LE. CTD due to lack of RAM is less likely. Probably just stutter and slow down.
