I was just sitting here playing, and suddenly thought that it would be cool to have a mod which would make the day/night schedule turn slower so you could spend actual time out at night and vice versa. Right now you hardly notice it's dark before it's day again. So you could increase the length of the 24h cycle with X%. 50%, 100%, 200%, so on. Would that be possible? As far as I know it evens save the setting you give it in your save game, individual to each save. set timescale to xx where xx is a the number of times faster than the real world you want it to run at. set timescale to 10 will give you time running 10x faster than the real world. Very low or high values can mess up the NPC AI so don't go too extreme. I find 10 is quite nicely balanced. I think the game default is 20.
