Hello,

 

This is not my first attempt in installing the mods which are needed. All I want is a Immersive experience.

Several HD Textures and Repoly Mods have been installed. (Texture Size Mostly 1K / some 2K)

Installed are over 150 Mods.

 

My PC Specs are as followed:

 

Intel Xeon E3-1230v3 @ 3.3GHz => same as i7-4770

16GB RAM

And as GPU a old GTX 770 with 2 GB of Video Memory

I already tried several things in the last couple of play attemps to solve this problem.

 

I also get some errors regarding XPMSE according to the Papyrus Logs.

I also cleaned Dirty Edits with SSEEdit. And the Plugin Order was sorted with LOOT.

 

I hope that someone can help me.

well , the thing about random crashes is that they aren't necessarily random at all

so if you could test the game and try to find what causes the crashes (area transitions , specific actions , specific actors or enemies etc) , it would really help narrow it down

also , I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to use all 3 less dragons plugins , I would guess that these will conflict with one another (so if dragons cause the crashes , that might be a part of it)

I wouldn't think your crashes are due to memory issues , but there is a program called the Skyrim Monitor (or something like that , can't recall the exact name) , you should use it to verify the crashes aren't hardware related (as in , they aren't caused by memory issues)

another thing you could check is the size of your save files . I don't know how far you are into the game , but if you see saves increasing in size far more than expected , or getting really big , it could suggest save bloat , which is a common issue with modded games

I thank you for your fast response.

I forgot to write it. Of course not all Less Dragons Plugins are activated only the 50's ones.

I started a fresh save game that's the odd thing.

I'll check that with the progam you mentioned.

The biggest Savegame is 4MB big.

So tried the software. Nothing conspicuous as it seems.

I removed the SKEE Plugins and the extracted RaceMenu File and I also deinstalled SSE Engine Fixes and it seems to run fine now..

I will play some time and see if it works now.

Okay of course the problem still persists.. Got a crash all seems to be right in the Skyrim Monitor.

It happens mostly during Loading Screens..

 

EDIT: Tried something else.

 

Seems like it was a Setting from SKEE64 (Plugin)

; Enables Body Randomization based on guided files
bEnableBodyGen=0 ; Default[1]

Maybe this solved it

Okay, it still happens. I opened A Barrel. I don't know if this could be related to the place where I am in the game. (Cutting Room Floors)

It is the Alchemist Shack near Ivarstead. (When you go from Helgen to Ivarstead)

well , this could be due to the contents of the barrel itself (so maybe a mod concerning loot is causing some issues) , or it could be something else entirely

and since it's a new game , it shouldn't be anything regarding save bloat or such , as these usually occur after quite a few hours for most users

at this point , I think you should start disabling mods in batches , and testing the game

I would recommend using an alternate start mod (so you can skip the long intro) , and starting a new game with no other mods used (aside from the unofficial patch)

test if it works , and when you feel satisfied activate a batch of mods (10-20 should be manageable)

add a batch of mods and start a new game , test to see if crashes still occur . when you do spot crashes , you can start narrowing your list down to try and find the issue

 

it's a rather long process , but since crashes happen to you shortly after starting the new save , it shouldn't be too hard to pull off , and hopefully you'll find the problem before long

I read through many threads where this also happened and it seems to be that the deletion of Dirty Edits caused this!

That's really strange. But I can now walk further and I can also open the barrel without a CTD.

Got a CTD at High Hrothgar when I have to follow the one person outside.

Really.. I don't know what this means. I think, beacuse there are not many errors my savegame is still good..

 

I really don't want to start a new game over and over again. (This is the 8th time | played till level 10 or so)

I just want to play the DLC's with some Immersive Mods.

And I really want to avoid reinstalling all the mods with NMM. It's a hassle. I have done this so often -.-

I also tried swiitching to Vortex but importing the Mods from NMM did not work . . .

 

Should I maybe switch to Mod Organiser 2?
