nagrom2608
Hi guys. Okay I'm having a constant problem with my game crashing. With a R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call C++ Runtime error. I've found numerous so called fixes online. These include downloading the latest redistributable from Microsoft. And reinstalling from the VCRedist folder. Within the Skyrim install folder. Neither of these have worked. I did see one so called fix that involved completing the "Impatience of a Saint" quest in the Soul Cairn. However I fail to see how this will fix an corrupt C++ install. Does this fix work? If not, does anyone else have any other suggestions as to how I can fix this annoying error? It only seems to have started after Windows did a big update the other day. Cheers in advance. Andy.
Sleepytime
Download the 2013 and 2017 versions of vcredist and install both and see if that helps. Windows updates and installing other games can bork your vcredist version so that Skyrim becomes cranky. Another thing is if you are using a huge amount of animation replacers that seems to cause C++ errors as well. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
nagrom2608
Cheers for that. I did update to the 2013 version, but I didn't see the '17 one. As for animation replacing mods. Don't have any installed. Other than better rag doll physics. I'll give them a go. Cheers again.
