macktruck6666
Okay, so I want to make a life-size, wearable, actuating, self standing power armor frame. Yes... you read it correctly. It's ambitious and probably will take a year and roughly $700 USD to make.I've been trying to model it solely using reference images. Recently Ive bee made aware of a potential better method. First let me say that I own Fallout 4 for xbox not PC, so I can't extract the files from game. I could buy the PC version, but I would like to try to find a solution first.I can however extract files from mods that have the model using BAE.These models do have a good starting point, but I can't get the textures to load.Yes, yes yes. I know, the textures don't have any vertex data that can be exported in an OBJ file from NifScope, but having it in NifScope will allow me to see the detail more easily. I can manually model the detail much more easily this way. I might even be able to project screen captures onto a blender model. No mater what I do with the Options > Settings > ResourcesI can't get the textures to load correctly. I also keep find a way to change the texture through the BSLightingShaderProperty even if I use an absolute path instead of a relative path. ghosu
Hello Well, I'm a Skyrim modder, don't own FO4 so I've got no clue 'bout its modding pipeline...just downloaded your NifSkope version.Whatever, maybe there is a missunderstanding, but i just downloaded the frame .nif from a random mod and a random retexture .dds, set a direct path via BSLightingShaderProperty Textureset and it shows in NifSkope the UV coordinates of the exported .obj work in an external 3D editor. http://666kb.com/i/du73nf6rwm4u4mbyb.jpg greetings Edited June 8, 2018 by ghosu
