So what is vigenette? does it have to do with the fps dropping? is it a large drop or low? what does it do to the graphics? does it enhance it or blur it or other effects?

Oh and if you don't mind please include important details. Thank you in advance

hi micros24, 'vigenette' (for gaming) is a term often used to describe a cinematic mix of custom rendered visual display effects/filter properties.

Traditionally, 'vigenette' is often refered to as a blurred focus effect added around the edges of an image to draw interest to the center (photography).

Game mods featuring adjustable 'vigenette' usually tweak the overall image fade/blur/shadow/bloom to soften & enhance it; for example,

an ENB series plug-in mod (with before/after pictures) would be:

Cinematic Lighting ENB - CLENB - by HD6 by HeliosDoubleSix - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4142&

fyi, 'ENB series' (by Boris Vorontsov) are graphic modifications for games, you can read more here: http://enbdev.com/index_en.html

There are other methods to get 'vigenette' effects using injector mods, GPU tweaks/tools, post processing, FXAA, dynamic depth-of-field,

you can find many searching here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/cat.php?id=62

Any graphic plug-in mods with 'vigenette' features might impact FPS performance, this all depends on how powerful your GPU is and

what kind of vigenette modification you are using. The are some mods that claim not to affect FPS performance at all.

I'd like to try CLENB, but I don't know how my computer would run it. Does anyone know how a computer with these specs would handle the game with CLENB?

The specs:

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition (Quad Core, 3.2 Ghz)

Radeon HD 5750 1 GB

4 GB DDR 3 1600 RAM

Windows 7 64 bit

The game runs rather well currently with high settings and 2X AA and 4X AF. Some stuttering when running around and spinning the camera or standing still and spinning the camera, usually nothing big.

I don't have a performance booster right now. Skyboost doesn't support patch 1.5 yet. Does anyone know of any other good performance boosters that support 1.5, hopefully some that update more often?
