Two-Hand stance

Looking throught this site (quite throughly i might add) i could not find any decent 2hand anims for my new character, and the base one isnt great any way. obviously it will need the twohandturnleft/right and a new running when drawn

so here a few suggestions on new 2hand idels, maybe you could make them into a pack

for the above one, have the left hand just kind of next to him or maybe the same as the one hand

Seems to mean both tbh. This is pretty much the only Mod that I want for Oblivion that isn't already out: something to allow you to equip the second hand with a weapon rather than a shield. I was amazed it wasn't built in, I would have thought dual-swords such a common concept in fantasy books and other RPGs a game the size of Oblivion would be sure to have them

I think he means, wield or swing your weapon with two hands and hold it with one hand when not attacking.

yeah thats pretty much what i want, keep the normal attacks of the "claymore" but change the stance.

A new stance would be pretty neat. Id like to see some new ones

The Handles of this two handed Swords are too short. The Handle must be as long as the forearm of the User, so he can swing the Sword with one Hand at the end of the Handle while the other Hand is positioned behind the Crossguard.

In "Mid Swing", you can push the the Sword in "Strike-Direction" with the right Hand behind the Crossguard while pulling in the opposite Direction with the left Hand, which will accelerate the Tip of your Sword, resulting in a devastating Blow.

Hey, this is something that really needs to be addressed for a mod idea I'm trying to get worked on, namely the Soul Calibur mod/s mainly focused on Nightmare and Soul Edge (check it out!)

Anyway, we found a good source for (re)making Soul Edge, but unless the animations for idle, walking and running with a two-handed weapon are changed we can't really use it. (in 1st person mode, cuz the sword is very large and blocks half the screen when drawn!)

Anyway, we were thinking a good position for the drawn weapon was held like Nightmare holds it, basically held in the right hand downward like in the pics I'll link below. Could have the sword held so it's more outward or more inward (the pics will explain it)

This is held more 'outward'.

While this is held more 'inward'. (though it would be in the other hand)

Or, you could have it held forward, like this.

You could also have the left hand reaching across the grasp the hilt as well, though this would probably look bad as-is... The arm would clip through the stomach/groin, and especially since this is also going to be implemented into the Nightmare project, the left hand would likely clip through the gigantic right hand/claw to reach the hilt; you could have the right arm held further out to avoid the left arm clipping through the stomach/groin, but overall a 1-handed stance is best.

But yeah, me and anyone else who may get involved in the Nightmare project are behind this idea 100%!
