Hy Guys,

 

for a couple of days i have encountered an rather terrifing bug or however you want to call it. So i am basically the settlement builder i have added more than 240 mods to fallout but everything worked fine but however without changing anything (no added, deleted mod or loadorder change) my game ctd out when i try to load save games.

 

The first Time this CTD occured was during a loading screen in one of my settlement i was building. So i thought the settlement could be to big, so i decided to save out in the wilds (now: near the atomic gallerya). Now i can load some save games out there but not all the CTD is still the same.

 

Do not know what to do know. Maybe you guys can help me out, it is quit annoiyng not to know which save game can be loaded properly without CTD.

Let me ask: all your save games CTD? Can you load up early save, will it CTD? How about start a new game, will it CTD? Do you always CTD at loading screen? Which save can you at least load and see the world?

For your question: No not all save games CTD while loading, but when they do it seems they CTD out during the phase the loading screens transitions in the actual game. Some save games, doesn't matter if older or recently created load properly while others don't. For some save games i can only load without CTD when i'm already ingame which means i have to load an older save file to load the one i want while for others even this doesn't works.

The first time i CTD out while loading was when i build in Taffingtons Boathouse so i saved near the Atomic Gallerya where everythings worked fine but a second save game closer to the gallerya only loads when i'm ingame and load this file. However i can visit any location ingame without any CTD only when i try to load them.

 

PS: My Settlement is build like Ranger Dave's Settlement (YouTube) only without Decorations i can fast travel there and there is no fps drop or anything related. I guess it could be that i have build to much and the game cannot load in this settlement when i first loading the game because many of the save games outside bigger settlement areas are loading properly however my Vault 88 Build which is much bigger than the one on the Boathouse loads without CTD
