Game Freezes After Bethesda Logo

I had an issue with my game, and it was suggested to me to make a bashed patch and see if that fixes it. I made the patch, but now the game gets stuck loading the main menu after the Bethesda logo. If I start the game without the patch active I can play just fine (with the exception of the original issue). With the patch active I get the logo, the ENB stuff displays and I get the Skyrim/Dragonborn symbol, but once there I have no smoke appearing nor is there any sound, and it doesn't seem to do anything after that. I have not yet tried waiting a bit longer, but I doubt that will change anything.
