Dragonborn40
Hello, My issue is that SKSE is not running no matter what I do. I think that Mod Organizer is the issue. I recently messed around with Mod Organizer and I didn't like it and would prefer to just use the Nexus Mod Manager. SKSE would run fine through Mod Organizer but after I got rid of Mod Organizer (Meaning I deleted the Mod Organizer files. If their is something I missed there then that may be the issue.) Skyrim wouldn't detect that SKSE was running. I have tried reinstalling using the installer, Updating, and running in Admin mode. So I hope that I get can get some help with this as googling my issue I couldn't find anything! Thanks in advance. WastelandAssassin
you've tried reinstalling NMM and all , but have you made sure SKSE is installed correctly?I don't know if you've used MO1 or MO2 , or how you've initially installed SKSE , but it doesn't sound like an NMM issueI also don't know what you've done with MO , or how you tried using it in conjunction to NMM , so you really should explain what you've done from scratch
tomomi1922
I think the answer is very simple:MO2 handles all files inside Data folder via virtual folder. It means you will not see any file inside actual Data folder (beside Skyrim vanilla files). SKSE64 installs partly in game folder, partly in Data folder. You deleted MO2 also deleted that part of SKSE. So your simple solution is to install SKSE again, follow their instruction. I highly recommend you to keep MO2 instead of going back to NMM. NMM feels extremely primitive in handling files. MO2 gives you so much features and options, like you know exactly which mod overwrites which, and selectively pick which file to overwrite. NMM almost renders you blind. But of course, this is entirely up to you.
Dragonborn40
Okay, Let me explain. I wanted to try mod organizer so i uninstalled nmm and the mods i had downloaded and got rid of it in case they would conflict. They i installed mod organizer and played around with it for a few months. I am using Mod organizer 1. I installed SKSE with the installer. I didn't try to use them in conjunction (NMM and MO). I reinstalled both. SKSE worked fine when i ran it in mod organizer but after deleting the mod organizer folder SKSE wouldn't run correctly. SKSE ran fine running it through organizer. Dragonborn40
Welp I fixed It thank you both for helping me. The desktop shortcut got corrupted or was still looking for MO or its files? Running it through the real skse loader worked. Thank you!

advancedas
Fixed. This issue is retarded. I cannot start the Skyrim SE even after having no mods. The new game would hand on infinite load screen and if I try to load the game, it gives me a CTD. Just install Mod organizer version 2.1.4 and it will work. Good luck!
