how do you open .hkx

I want to create a custom .hkx for my new race so it uses the new animation replacers so the other races won't use them too and I can't find any info on how to open them. Is there a way to get a race to utilize custom animations without making the npcs use them?

Yes theres a way, iirc theres even a mod for that, about the hkx files u need to download the havock converter(something like that cant remember the name) so u can convert the hkx to kf files, the kf file can be open in 3ds max.

 

Check the wiki in the nexus, maybe u can find more info there.
