Archpielit
Installed 2010 x64, deleted NV folder, and double checked that I removed D3d9, ran game as auto detect and still nothing. :(
GrindedStone
Use let the 3D application decide in the Nvida control panel then disable AA an AF in the FNV settings. Did you ever try running it with the master volume slider turned down, this was to rule out audio issues as a cause, but you never said anything about it? Archpielit
Yea I'll try that stuff sadly I'm at work but yes I did try the audio test
GrindedStone
Try windowed mode, it caused some issues for vista users. Others claim it's a performance boost. Then I found a save game at Nexus that skips that first scene. You could find another if you like. Save @ Nexus You know just to see if it's localized to the game start up or a more of a global problem.
Archpielit
Alright tried everything above and nothing worked. New question though when I went to Change my 3D settings it was already set for let application decide. so Is there a flip side to that or is that the best setup? Qualanqui
Have you installed in the C:\program files(x86) cos that could cause an issue, I have just recently installed NV and FOMM in a new partition and it seems to be a lot happier. Bit of a stupid question but have you made sure your updated to the latest patch (1.4.0.525 I think)
Archpielit
Don't ask me why I didn't think of this earlier but since I did a re-install I didn't re-run the Validating steam files... so I did and I keep getting 1 Files failed to validate and will be reacquired... had this before I re-installed NO idea why I didn't think to run it again after that.
