i need different colors!!!

so yeah basically all i want is an easy mod to my game and that is changing my favorite armor from whatever color to a new one like from dremora(red) to purple.

 

if you got tha know how it would be much appreciated if you were to inform thee!

Use "DDS Converter 2" to convert the files from DDS to PSD format. Use your favorite graphics editor to modify the colors. Then use DDS Converter 2 to convert it back from PSD to DDS format (DXT5 + Mipmaps)

 

To get the colors you want inside the game, you have two options:

 

Create Texture Replacers

 

or

 

Create New Re-Textured Items

 

EDIT: Well, another option is to search and see if somebody has already done this.

If your finding this difficult you can base it on my Re-Tex which does include Deadric Purple :Deadric Re-Tex Pack this should help you find out how to do it and show you a way to file system it without having loads of duplicates.
