ShinJiOh
God. As if there is really a choice.... I'm sorry im going to have to disagree with that Peregrine, as if you were immortal, you would see things come and go, hence as Malchik said there would be no possibility for emotion. Being a power driven maniac, eventually everyone gets bored using god-mode all the time in games, so why not get bored of god mode in life? but then it raises another question, would their be others like yourself, or would you be the one and only divinity. Personally, i would rather live the cosmic ballet that is natural life, because of its unpredictability. I mean with stuff like moarrige and love, if you were a "creation" god, the you could make your own, but where's the fun in that, making someone exactly alike to yourself... ITRW the daily challenges you face give you more than enough to do, aparet from trying to dominate the universe
Breton Thief Oriana
Ok, so I voted to keep things as they are. But can I have a vespa too? Things the way they are, Well, that is just fine with me. Being immortal (Not god) was a close second. I like the idea of allways being around, seeing things from a passive perspective, bringing justice to the unworthy of mortals, walking on lava although it burns my feet and then thinking "With time, this wound shall heal" and having it heal instantly. Pain would be acceptable, feelings would be acceptable, as it is all a part of current life, with the exception that it will never end, and therefore you have infinite ammounts of plesure as well as pain. And my pain will easily go away, which is even better. But, all good things must come to an end, and therefore I chose to keep things the way they are. Peregrine
But you wouldn't have to get bored. By definition, you are omnipotent, with the exception of being able to destroy yourself. If you get bored, you simply decide boredom doesn't exist. Or forget the memories. If you don't want to use your powers and allow reality to handle itself, you can do it. plasicgimp
anyway, how could you get bored of doing what you want? you could find out what magma tastes like or throw rocks at the president.....each having consequeces(such as the death sentence for the latter one, but you can escape death, right?) wesaynothin
I'd choose immortality with god powers. If the human race dies around you, if the whole galaxy disappears, you can make your own in whichever fashion you wish. No matter what, you would be able to have something to do. And I really want to throw rocks at the president ^_^
Mojlnir
God-like powers! Yeehah, let's see...new universe...intergalactic space travel....ah screw it...can I throw rocks with you guys?
Malchik
Didn't you already do that in the Snow Arena, Mojlnir? I entirely agree with Peregrine, if you have godly powers you can eliminate boredom and replace it with catatonia - much more restful. If only infinity wasn't such a long stretch... Mojlnir
I recall throwing snowballs, but not rocks my good sir! Though, knowing myself I wouldn't put it past myself to have slipped a rock or two into a snowball ;) Anyway, to the point, why would you choose to spend eternity, with god-like powers mind you, in a catatonic state? Think of all the stuff you would miss. And would you be able to bring yourself out of said state? I assume so, but that would call into question whether or not you were truly catatonic or simply keeping your eyes closed, not moving, and ignoring everyone. Peregrine
Who cares. You're god. You can define those things to be whatever you feel like. You can do anything with the exception of kill yourself.
Mojlnir
Truth. I am just curious as to why Malchik would choose to sleep away eternity when he could be off galavanting with the lady-types? Seems an awful waste to me.
