I was being entirely serious. If you accept the "immortality with god powers" offer, you can not be bored unless you want to be. An omnipotent being can simply say "boredom doesn't exist" or "I'm not bored" and then not be bored. Therefore the only logical option is to pick the god powers.

Because I can read a dictionary. Omnipotent means you can do anything. Your will is reality. Therefore it is not possible to become bored unless you wish to be bored.

If there is no pain, struggle there would be no good either. As a god it would be emotional suicide to wish away the "bad" stuff cause you would stop evolving and wither.The eternal chain of action -> Reaction would disappear And in time you would will it back and balance would be reinstated, You would realise that you have no power at all cause the nature of the universe forces your hand to create half of each... "evil" and "good" to create a new chain of Struggle to evolve yourself and you have no power at all and the only real power is in the universe. After a little time you would choose to die and go back to the natural cycle of life and death.

 

Cause the only thing you can rely on to give a life of some meaning is not your own flawed self but the perfection of the emotionless universe

Good and evil are comparatives. (I shall not go along the path of asking whose definitions one uses since there are many opposing views.) Even if the human race could all agree on what 'evil' was, removing it also removes 'good' since it removes choice. If there is no choice the word good has no meaning.

 

If it is argued that there are degrees of 'good' then the 'least good' will perforce occupy the position of evil and be viewed as such. So by removing evil you simply alter the definition of evil. If this 'evil' option is then removed you will come down to the point I mentioned above; there is only one possible behaviour. Once there is no choice the words good and evil become meaningless.

 

You, as the omnipotent being, now have everyone doing what you want. You can call it 'good' if it pleases you. You can call it 'normality'. You can call it 'large cheeseburger with fries'. Since those doing the behaviour have no conscious choice to make they cannot see it as 'good' or 'normal'. There is nothing to compare it against! I suppose they might see it as a large cheeseburger with fries but I question even that.

Well, you can do anything, which means you can change anything you want.

So you make them understand that what they are doing is good but it has as much meaning as telling them what they are doing is a double cheeseburger with fries. They can believe it as a fact but not understand it as a concept. You can presumably make them believe they understand it as a concept. In that case you are making them believe a lie. To some this could be seen as 'evil'?
