ab3ee Posted June 16, 2018 Share Posted June 16, 2018 I have changed my password on the website because i forgot the old one and it works on the website. Unfortunately I get the login error with wrong username or passwod on the Nexus Mod Manager program that I install on my PC. I haven't used NMM for over a year but the log details are the same as on the website. It even says on the logging window, am i doing something wrong? I want to replay some fallout 4 and install a wide fix for my 3440x1440 monitor and some sweet new texture packs :( ...... Can anyone please help me solve this puzzle. WastelandAssassin Posted June 16, 2018 Share Posted June 16, 2018 are you using the latest version of NMM?that is either 0.65.2 from here , or 0.65.6 from github (I believe these are the latest version right now , and you can find the github link on the NMM download page)if you aren't using the latest version , go and get either of the two , as any versions prior to these won't work due to a server update the Nexus has undergone some time ago Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ab3ee Posted June 16, 2018 Author Share Posted June 16, 2018 What do you mean run as administrator is that an option inside NMM ? if you suggest right click and Run as Admin same issue incorrect password or user. I have NMM installed in D not in My C windows partition, looked online and someone suggested that also but still not working. I tried unistalling then a CCclean and restart same issue regrettably. WastelandAssassin Posted June 16, 2018 Share Posted June 16, 2018 I meant running as admin as you've done (there is no such option inside NMM)I'm sorry to say I have no idea what could be the cause of thisI've directed many users to the update , as many have missed the announcement about itbut I can't recall anyone having the issues even after the update...... every single time the update worked , and the issue was solved for themso it's something that I really don't know about this isn't a solution to your issue , but if you can't figure out how to solve this , I recommend downloading the latest version of MO2 and just using that insteadyou might need to look up a tutorial or two to get started with it (if you've never used it in the past) , but I wholeheartedly recommend it over NMM (I've been using it for a long time , and I love it)so this won't fix your NMM , but at least you'll be able to mod and play your game , which is the whole point Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I changed my password TWICE first time same issue then tried it again :))))))) and then finally it logged in. Not sure how but it worked. I was longed in the website so password and user were correct we will never know why it didn't work for the NMM. Anyway happy it works...
