I watched some 3dsmax tutorials about cloth modifier and I wanted to try the same process with fitting a 3d bra around a body mesh instead of using a 2d garment. But It did not work well; It fell down, torn apart then I tried to close gravity and welded the object and then I added spherical gravity inside the body but still it didn't tightly wrap around the body as I thought it would. Is there a way to succesfully do this with 3d objects? I'm new to 3dsmax so I'm sure there must be something I am missing.

I also thought collision object would have its own garvitational pull to make cloth wrap around itself but then i figured out it was because of seams they add with garment maker but there is no modifier named garment maker when you use 3d object instead of splines. I had another idea like making the gravitational pull in the shape of the body mesh but there is only sphere and plane.

mmmmm u could use wrap it instead, google conform wrap is a free plug in, like the name say wrap ur 3d poly object to another, then u can fix the vertex by hand or use the push modifier, hope this can help u.

Edit: Also u can always use the topology ribbon in 3ds max to make an "exact" copy of ur model.
