How Many Lines Should a Custom Voiced Follower Have to start?

I know it's all subjective, but what is a good start for lines when making a follower mod?

indeed, it all depends;

 

 

if you look at the metadata average of Companions presently made,

it seems to be around ~180-300,

with as few as some 'two word sentences'.

If you utilize an AGI-Chatbot/Vocaloid routine, via IPA Phoneme-plex etc.

you could make arbitrarily many lines in a just-in-time style...

it is tricky to get the cadence on irrealis moods just-so though.

If you approach it from causality, (ie GameStates and choicespace)

Alliance had a flowchart of the logic types and the average most utilized stuff.

I think you can get away with as few as 18 lines, depending on the character traits.

(perhaps they speak Dragon only or are selectively-mute etc?).

This will depend on the language they speak. Vee of Youtube had a series of charts about some.
