Hello everyone. I've just started toying around with the creation kit, and I ran into a problem trying to do something. I want to change what type of enchantments a particular armor can be enchanted with. Namely, I want to enchant an item introduced by the Art of Magicka mod (the thong if you must know, but this should apply to other items as well). All I really want is to be able to enchant these items with Fortify Health / Magicka Regen.

I thought that I just needed to add the keyword EnchantmentMagickaRegen to these items, but I've noticed that other items that can have this enchantment don't have these keywords. >.>

Any help would be appreciated.

And the creation kit website wasn't very helpful on this matter, nor was google.

This is a pretty simple task. Find the enchantment in the Enchantment Tab. Once it is located, it was tell you what the "Base Enchantment" is. Next locate that. Double click on it to open it. Once opened, you will notice a "Worn Restrictions" form. Next in the Object Window, search for that Form under *All. When you find it, duplicate it. Once duplicated, you add Keywords to this list that describe what armor / weapon you'd like to put the enchant on. Save the duplicated list, then find the base enchantment again and change the form to the new form. Done.

Throw me some Kudos if this helped you. Please and Thank you. You can give kudos under my name and avatar on the left of this post.

Hmmm, It doesn't want to let me add a new keyword to the list. After duplicating the form list all that I can do is edit anything already on that list, but not add new keywords. AND when I do change a keyword the change doesn't stick.

EDIT: never mind, turns out you need to drag 'n drop for it to work. ~w/e works~

EDIT2: ok, so I gave the ClothingThong keyword to all the items, and added that keyword to all the form lists for each of the enchantments I wanted (duplicated the list i.e. EnchantmentMagicka became EnchantmentMagicaEXPANDED), and assigned to new list to each enchantment.

However, the items did not gain the ability to be enchanted with these effects. What did I do wrong?

First of all sory for my grammar and so on, im not an english speaking person. But if someone would like to know how to deal with sucha problem, here's how ive managed with it:

1. Open Miscellaneous list.

2. Go to FormList submenu.

3. Create ur own list.

4. Go to Keyword submenu.

5. Now u can create ur own keyword but u would have to add it to all items what u want manualy (in item menu u have Keywords list) or u can use existing keywords eg. if u drag ClothingHands and ArmorGauntlets to FormList uve created u will be able to enchant almost all gloves and gauntlets in game.

6. Drag desired Keywords to ur FormList.

7. Find ur enchantment and in WornRestriction select ur FormList.

8. Enjoy.
