StantonCree
I have this problem with my interior cell. I have made a playerhome and the kitchen and bathroom walls have red/blue/white tiles on them. My problem is that if I move away from them a couple of steps they start to fade away as if they are out of the view range. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGGYndE2Pn4&feature=youtu.be I've put up a video to show you better. Ignore the song :pinch:
chucksteel
You need to generate interior precombined and visibility
StantonCree
Do I need to generate again if I make changes to the cell?
MissingMeshTV
I would agree with chucksteel that generating precombines/preivs is a good idea. But for small cell like that you can also use room bounds and portals if you prefer. Room bounds can be frustrating to work with at first, but can be set up at any time in the course of making the mod and are easy to modify if needed. Precombines are easier to create (a few clicks and you’re done) and are best left for when you consider the mod to be “finished.” But if you make changes after generation you do need to regenerate everything again. But as to the examples in your video I think the answer maybe simpler. The wall tiles that disappear when you back away are likely too close to the wall surface behind them. Try pulling them forward a tiny bit in X-space. In the 3D Data tab of the reference window, put in .02 for the amount in the X position and click them forward a step or to. That might help. I’ve had the same thing happen using posters and grime decals on walls and adjusting the X-space position a tiny amount always fixes it for me.
