Mrcold1
ok- since your not giving a lot of details about what your trying to use, im gonna start simple- 1. most hair mods will require the character creation menu to use (race menu) so if you add a hair mod to a game your already playing, you wont see it unless you start a new game or open your console ( press ~) and type " showracemenu " , this will allow you to change the hair on your player. 2. armor mods will not just be added to your inventory ( in most cases) you'll have to craft them or buy them or find them. most mods will tel you where to go to find or what vendors may sell it. conversely, if you already where iron armor and you download an iron armor re-texture mod that is not stand alone (simply "repaints" all the iron armor in the game) you should see your iron armor change. CrazyShadowDami
the read me files should be in your *installation directory*/mods. you will see a lot of win files there, so you will need winrar to open them. there you will see a bunch of files, which are the actual mod, and readme file. btw, do you have winrar on ur pc? bben46
Each mod has a readme - it may not be called exactly that, but often is. That is the text that tells you what a mod does, what you need to know to use the mod and any special information on installing/uninstalling. Most of the time it is an expansion of the mod description and may be an exact copy. Other times it may be included in the zipped files that you download and is called Readme, read me, information or something else - but it is some kind of text file - .txt, .doc, .pdf etc. Some mods, especially those by modders who's English is not so good may be sparse with very little information. Often you can find more info in the comments by other users - EVERY mod has it's own comments forum where registered users can make comments - I recommend reading the Terms of service for the forums before tearing into someone because you don't like their mod. Here is a link. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?app=forums&module=extras§ion=boardrules
