Modder Without a Cause

I am a quest-coder who needs a quest to enter into the game. I like short projects with a very high chance of completion. If the project could be done in a week, that would be great.

 

In a one-week project, I expect we could build and voice-act one small quest. Depending on what the mod was about, it might include a new dungeon, a new weapon or piece of armor, a new book, or whatever it is that you build in your field of modding work and that fits in with the story.

So if you have a small mod project you are working on that you think you could finish in a week, that you would like me to join, contact me about it.

If there are no such projects which would work out at the moment, then we could start a project from scratch with the plan of doing it in a week. If this is the case, then these would be the positions that might need to be filled:

 

Writer (Who has a story for a very short and simple quest.)

Voice Actors

Dungeon Builder? (If the story needs a dungeon.)

Modeler? (If one wants to put his or her work into a quest mod.)

Retexturer? (If one wants to put his or her work into a quest mod.)

Quest-coder/Miscellaneous CK Work Person? (If such a person wants to participate along with the quest-coder / CK person the project already has.

 

The project already has one quest-coder / CK guy, so the project already has the resources to be pushed through to completion regardless of what other positions were filled. The plan would be that we would use the resources we had to complete the project. If something we wanted was not available (like if a new sword model was wanted, but we couldn't get it) then the story and plan would be changed to not call for a new sword model.

I have a near complete project already uploaded that just needs some quests done and i utterly fail at scripting. If you get bored i could start back into that project. Shouldn't be hard to do since the quests would be very basic, pick up note, fetch key, read journal, done x1. read note kill bad guy get a thank you, done x2. 2 other locations that have nothing for quests setup such as a note, bad guy, or keys.

Actually scratch that, I forgot I already gave it to DizzasterJuice to do whatever she wants with it.

 

I do have 2 completely unrelated mods that could use some completion you can have altogether. Was bored so made 2 houses north of the solitude arch near where the Katariah parks. Use them as a baseline if you get someone to join your team. They are not really suited for a player home as they are but some minor tweaks and they could be made into a couple or as just part of a quest. PM me you email if you want them.
