yttermayn
There was a mod for oblivion that used the script extender. It put two containers on the wall in the imperial city mages guild and you'd place a magic item in one, and an unenchanted item in the other, press a button and poof!, the enchantment was transfered to the unenchanted item. I'd like to make a mod that does something similar, but it would seem there aren't much in the way of script functions in skyrim that allow that kind of enchantment manipulation. Anybody got any ideas?

yttermayn
Unechant encantet item, enchant unechanted item.If its unenchanted use the mod in my sig "mikaelarps disenchantable artifacts If I understand what you are saying, you disenchant an item, learn the enchantment, and apply it to the new item. Yes, that is how the game normally works and therefore would not require a mod; it is not transfering. I am talking transfering enchantments from, say, the archmage robes to maybe a set of ebony armor, at full strength, not dependent on your enchanting skill. I have seen the "playerenchantobject" command, but can find none that would give you the ID's of enchantments on an existing item.
flairtorc
I am sorry to bring this back from May, but I too, would like to see this mod reborn in skyrim, because I used it in oblivion, and it was pretty useful. Want that daedric enchantment on a weapon with higher damage rating? Sure, transfer it right over.
Edgardeth
I've also been craving for a mod like this. I simply would like to transfer the mage-hood enchantments over to a fur-hood for use with Frostfall. I don't want to be cheating but it's more for the sake of immersion. Hope someone might be able to offer a solution to this issue Skål! Edited July 3, 2012 by Edgardeth
J3X
We need some SKSE functions to create this mod.
tg08096
For now, just use the mod mentioned that allows disenchanting anything and use the enchanting table to put the enchantment on a new item. If your enchanting skill sucks, use the console to temporarily increase your enchanting effectiveness. Or wear a bunch of gear and drink potions that increase your enchanting skill. @flairtorc: Nice avatar
NexusUser1000
found something like that, haven't tried it myself though. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50773/
