Saintzer077
I just bought Special edition and Survival mode I'd like to get rid of it any any other mod from the bethesda mod site tool. Not sure how to begin. Uninstall and manually delete all in the data folder? I installed Mod Organizer 2 and all the mods I have are classified non-mo.
WastelandAssassin
I don't know about the mods from Bethesda.netbut if you want to have a playthrough without a specific CC mod , you can just cut the esl plugin to a different folder , or rename it to add something after the extension (like .esl.backup)you don't want to delete this , as you may not be able to reclaim it (and you shouldn't have to pay for it again) it is obvious that all of these mods are classified as non MO , as they weren't installed via MO , and thus aren't handled by itbut that's just what this means . it's not an issue

And I later made a new mod folder for it. So indeed, Creation Club content is being managed by MO2.
WastelandAssassin
that is very strangemaybe it's because you bought it after setting up the game with MO2?I've never heard of this happening , but I've never used any CC content myself , so I'm not sure why this iswhatever the case , you can make these into mods for MO2 , by simply making a new mod and moving their assets into new mod's folderbut I thought that since these are installed directly to the game's directory , MO2 won't naturally handle them (but it happened to you somehow)
tomomi1922
Yes, I bought it after MO2 was used. Come to think about it, it is natural. Skyrim only knows of 1 Data folder, and it happens to be the VFS. You need to understand that nobody but MO2 and the user know there is virtualization at play here. Skyrim is just happy thinking it has a Data folder to work with. So whatever downloaded should go to Overwrite folder as it should be the "catch all" location for MO2. Uninstall and manually delete all in the data folder? I installed Mod Organizer 2 and all the mods I have are classified non-mo. Now I finally understand what OP said. He installed MO2, so naturally everything already existed inside Data folder is classed as non-MO.
WastelandAssassin
makes sense that it would work like thatso it just depends on whether you are getting the CC content (or Bethesda.net mods for that matter) while opening the game via MO2 or notuseful bit to remember for the futurethanks for the input tomomi1922
