iloverage
Hey guys, i´m having this really weird issue that when i aim in ironsight, i get this really weird "stutter sway". Pretty much like this: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/44699/?tab=videos#lg=2&slide=0 Thing is: This happened only after i installed NV: Enhanced Camera and the comp Patch for WAR. Another interesting thing: As soon as i go into an interior space this stutter sway is not there, but when i go outside, the bug is happening again. I´m using Mod Organizer 2 Edit: Not sure if this helps, but the pov is also messed up, screenshot from my game: https://i.gyazo.com/2a535c7ad03c0ea506eaf0d9b4561322.jpg https://i.gyazo.com/bfb9dc38b0c6fb7a3b5d221bcd184bc7.jpg
dubiousintent
This may be a combination of your current STR and Guns skill (modified by drugs and situational modifiers) affecting the "sway" formula. The maximum distance to target is different between interiors and exteriors as well. Please see 'Issue: Aiming -' entries under'Solutions to Graphics problems' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. Re: Stuttering or "micro-stutters". All visual stuttering problems are caused by the video stream having to wait for the "art assets" required to render the display OR the game writing something to disk (such as a save game file or logging). Mostly these are due to the hard disk drive being orders of magnitude slower than VRAM, with System RAM (e.g. "ENBoost") and "solid state drives" (SSDs) being in between. Keep in mind that this game was designed for older PC and XBox console systems, and it is now possible for your new "latest and greatest" gaming machine to be faster than it can handle. There are internal design choices that cannot be overcome. The following are "mitigations" that have been found to help some people. Please see the following entries under the 'Solutions to Performance problems' section in the wiki Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide if you haven't already.* 'Issue: "Full screen mode" exhibits CTDs and stutters or micro-stutters'* 'Issue: Lag or "micro stutters" even with "New Vegas Stutter Remover" installed'* 'Issue: Win10 Screen tearing in "Borderless Windowed Mode"'* 'Issue: CTD without warning, "Out of Memory error", or stops responding after the Main Menu' for other settings that can indirectly affect micro-stutter.* There are also some NVSR configuration suggestions under the 'Issue: Game in slow motion' and entries.* The 'Issue: What's with these Solid Green billboard signs in the distance (LOD)?' entry under the 'Solutions to Mesh (Red "!" icon) or Texture (solid color) problems' section can also help if your problems started after you installed VWD/LOD texture packages.* If you are using CASM or some similar "auto-save" mod to manage your save game files (recommended), try increasing the "time between saves" set in the "save frequency"; and reducing the number of occasions it saves to the minimum (e.g. disable most "Autosave Events" in CASM) and see how that impacts the game seeming to freeze temporarily.* If you have "NVSE logging" enabled (see the 'Checklist Item #4' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide), disable it until actually needed.Reading from or writing to disk for any reason is the slowest thing the game does.As you can see, there are a number of things that can underlie your problem. If one of these doesn't fix it, I would be interested to hear about any eventual solution that does. -Dubious-
iloverage
Hey Dubious, thank you very much for your long answer.I already tried a lot of the suggestions you gave me and while they improved the quality of the game, they sadly did not fix the Problem. I found this Steamthread which describes the Problem i have way better than i do. https://steamcommunity.com/app/22380/discussions/0/485623406952253426/?ctp=3 To Quote :" The problem we are experiencing seems to be an actual violent, weapon shake bug, almost like your character has Parkinson's.When I was diagnosing the issue, it seemed to happen under these conditions:1) The bug only happens in outside environments (not buildings/caves) 2) The bug is worsened when facing North or South. 3) Deselecting the option "True Iron Sights" in gameplay options, this seems to get rid of the shaking, however isn't a viable solution for people who want to aim down sights.I've tried uninstalling the game multiple times, clearing all data, but still to no avail." -The only thing i can add to this list is, that the pov from the weapon in 1st person seems also wrong. Until i have a solution for this issue, i´m using the mod "No Weapon wobble" from the Nexus. While it´s not fixing the Problem itself, it does remove the weapon sway and thanks to that, makes aiming down the iron sight bearable again. -Donout
dubiousintent
That Steam thread covers all the causes I am aware of, but as the OP had the problem with a vanilla game, it would appear to be an issue with vanilla animations. Have you tried using other animation replacements such as:* Asurah Reanimation Pack* Weapon Animation Replacer (WAR) Otherwise it might be due to your combination of mods. None of the threads on the problem seem to have bothered listing their load orders so we don't have any way of looking for "common denominators". But something might stick out. -Dubious-

M48A5
If weapon sway is your only problem, consider yourself lucky. What you have is a load list, not a load order. There is no order involved. You need to follow the links to the wiki dubiousintent provided and do more reading. As a hint, nothing is to be loaded before the base game and all DLCs and preorder packs are loaded. After that, mod .esm files are to load and finally mod .esp files should load. The game loads from top to bottom.
iloverage
Yea, you are obviously right. I´m not sure why i had this load order at that moment. I just copied it really quick without checking it over. Ran Loot again. I edited my earlier post.
dubiousintent
While I don't see anything obviously related to your "shaky ironsight" problem in the revised load order (but "GRA-WRP-Patch-Two_Unofficial.esp" is a possibility I know nothing about), I did notice a couple of things. At 133 active plugins, you are pushing the boundaries before the game starts getting "too many plugins". While nominally that is at 140, it varies by system and mix of mods and can start occurring as low as 130. Just a word of caution. Please check that "Game Tweaks..esp" has that double period ("."). That is not typical syntax and I am not sure if it will cause a problem or not. (More than one period is now allowed in the filename, but are treated as "delimiter characters". Much depends upon the program reading the filename and what it considers "valid".) OTOH, if it doesn't kick out an error then ignore it and leave it alone. While I am a big fan of "LOOT", it is not always 100% correct. It uses an algorithm to "group" mods by what they are dependent upon (and then "date/time stamp"), but doesn't care what order they are in within that "dependency grouping" unless the user community has provided that information to the "master list" LOOT uses. So there are a number of minor re-positions you can perform. Not all "dependencies" are "directly related" (meaning they have previously loaded plugins listed as "master files" in the file header). There are also "indirect dependents" which require other (usually ESP) files as well that are not direct masters. Among these are "compatibility/feature patches" to make two different plugins work together. The primary plugins need to load before the "compatibility patch". For example: OWB-Path Lights - Darker Nights.espOWB-Path Lights.esp and CourierRangerArmorV2-PNXFile.espCourierRangerArmorV2.esp jumped out at me. Those pairs should be reversed. Please see the 'Common Game Problems' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. You have several apparent "merged plugins". While those in general are fine things, the names on them suggest they are mostly collections of the files related to particular mods. It is important to observe the "contiguous" nature of the sorting. If plugins related to a particular mod (such as "Project Nevada") get separated in the "load order" by LOOT, then they have different master-dependency relationships and should not be arbitrarily positioned together. They may need rebuilding after you add other mods. That can cause unexpected problems. This is discussed in the wiki "Merged Plugin Guidelines for Personal Use" article. -Dubious-
Kinzel
Anybody managed to solve the OP problem? It's happens as Mightymeati describles in https://steamcommunity.com/app/22380/discussions/0/485623406952253426/? 1) The bug only happens in outside environments (not buildings/caves)2) The but is worsened when facing North or South.3) Deselecting the option "True Iron Sights" in gameplay options, this seems to get rid of the shaking, however isn't a viable solution for people who want to aim down sights. I've tried everything. I'm using 100% Vanilla FNV+DLCs. I tried a max STR character to see if STR helps with the jittery iron sight, but it doesn't. I don't know if is related, but with my older computer I didn't notice the problem (shaky iron sight). My old PC:i3 4179 + GTX 750 ti + HD My new PC:i9 9900KS + RTX 2060 + SSD/HD I tried to install FNV into HD instead of SDD, but still didn't solve it. Still no. Edited February 10, 2020 by Kinzel
Kinzel
Well, still no fix. What I did to soften: install FOV mods as https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/65512?tab=files&file_id=1000048879&nmm=1, and decrase to focus into target. It will helps to not see the shaking.
