Book Lore Based dungeons and items

I do not know if this subject has been covered. I would assume it has since Skyrim has been out for quite a while and I think this topic holds some sway to the RPGer out there. I read a lot of the books in Skyrim. Not all of them. But when I would read about something about a lost artifact or weapon/armor or a dungeon with a buried hero, I would sorely want to go find that place or item. But except for I think the Gauldur Amulet and the Legend of the Red Eagle (which is really disappointing that it is just another stupid Forseworn sword and no red eagle!), there aren't any quests or locations, and it would be awesome if there were more. I'm thinking that I'd like to have specific weapon models for something like "axe of whiterun" or the "sword of winterhold," which when I got and saw that they were just ordinary steel axe/iron greatsword I was upset with that. it just seems so...lazy. the game is awesome, but the lack of detail in those areas are great. so I would like to put together a mod comprising of dungeons and crypts for book-lore, unique items and characters for those instances, and unique weapon/armor models for uniquely named items retrieved from quest rewards or found among the dead heroes/villains, and to add some more books into the game. would this be too grandiose an idea, and perhaps also too big of a file for people to really want to load to their game everytime?
