Stemin
He trained with them right? Why is there no dialogue option at all? Is there one and I am just missing it? I thought there was a dialogue after you reached a certain point in the game. I could be wrong. I know there is dialogue with ulfric about the greybeards for certain. If there isn't the obvious answer is because Bethesda didn't give us one.
Georgiegril
I thought I remembered some reference to Ulfric at some point. But nothing particularly revealing about his character. The greybeards train for years on how not to talk, after all....
JanusForbeare
Bethesda rushed the game out in the last few months to meet 11/11/11. As a result, there are a number of plot holes and omissions in the storyline. Getting background info on Ulfrik from the Greybeards is the least of them. Relativelybest
cause no teacher wants to talk about a student of theirs who misused thier teachings. Arngeir: "A young Greybeard named Ulfric Stormcloak, who was a pupil of mine until he turned to evil, led the Rebellion to hunt down and destroy the Empire. He betrayed and murdered the High King." BrettM
Obi-wan; "A young Jedi named Anakin, who was a pupil of mine before he turned to evil, led the Empire to hunt down and destroy the Rebellion. He betrayed and murdered your father." Oy vey, I think I'd lead a posse against any writer at Bethesda who resorted to such an explanation. :D
robanybody2000
;D Sweet, unknown easter egg. BTW Arngeir's voice was done by Christopher Plummer.
fraquar
What happens in High Hrothgar stays in High Hrothgar. Klimmek: Do all of those shouts the Graybeards make have some kind of meaning?Dragonborn: Most of them, but some of them are with a little too much feeling if you catch my drift. MacSuibhne
cause no teacher wants to talk about a student of theirs who misused thier teachings. Every teacher (and I've been one for 30 some years) wants his student to go beyond what he himself has achieved, otherwise he has failed as a teacher. Some might call that misuse, I don't.
