Stemin
I don't expect anyone to explain the whole process to me. There are tutorials for that. But I would like to know why there are armors for the UNP and CBBE body meshes, but none for the original Bethesda bodies. Is there a reason you cannot just make custom armors for the stock body? Also, since I started a topic anyways, if there is a reason you have to use third party meshes for custom armor, what are the most widely used male bodies? VictorianApocolypse
The armors don't generally need custom bodies to work, it's just that people prefer to see boobies quite frankly. Though I myself am a tad bit more conservative on that issue. You can make custom armor and use those already made for other bodies without installing a body mod anyway. As for the most popular, well, unless you want a highly sexual wasteland filled with skimpy outfits I wouldn't bother with most mods. However, the ones I use are the Type V, which is the most realistic clothing-wise. The male type would be either Breeze's or Roberts Body mods, which are both a little awkward unless you disable the...parts. If you need anything else, please feel free to ask :) Edit: Wait, how did I get on the Skyrim part of the forum? Sorry, these are for Fallout... David Brasher
UNP and CBBE are "cool" in the eyes of modelers. Vanilla Skyrim bodies are not "cool" in the eyes of modelers. So they spend their time and effort on armor for the new body models instead of the original. It is quite possible to model custom armor for the vanilla Skyrim body. It is just a matter of choice.
